The Royal Invite

You can begin sending invitations to parties in parchment paper, rolled and tied with a pink or purple ribbon or organza. Wording of the invitations are of fairy tale nature, emphasizing how exciting this enchanted princess birthday party will be. Your guests will immediately know this party will be special.

Princess Anna (first name) of Blake (surname) cordially invites Princes Natalie of Ramone (guests first and surname)

to attend her 5th birthday

on Saturday 12th April 2010

You can easily find plenty of local supply stores and online party shops that will have all kinds of original ideas for decorating your castle. It could even have an arch of pink and purple balloons and hanging streamers at the entrance of the guests to walk under. Pink and purple balloons in the ‘ball room’. Fairy lights danging over bookcases or along walls. Pink and purple table clothes with silver plastic plates and cutlery. You can dress the table up with rose petals and flowers. Let the princess inside you out and go wild.

To make a throne you can cover a normal chair in a white table cloth or sheet and wrap pink or purple organza around the back of the chair to make it extra special.

Games

The Royal Games

Pass the crown Jewel’s- simply wrap some nice dress jewellery in layers of pink and purple paper for the girls to pass until the music stops and they unwrap a layer.
Pin the tail on the dragon.
Find the magic wand.
Own the throne, the little princesses move around the chairs in a circle until the music stops then they all have to find a seat. One seat is removed each time and the girl without a seat is out. The last seat left is the throne and the girl that gets that wins.
The royal messenger, the queen or king (mum or dad) whispers a message to the first princess who in turn whispers a message to the princess to her right until you get to the last princess who says the message out loud.

The royal Princess Portrait – take a photo of each princess with the birthday princess in their princess dresses.

You can supply the princesses with pink party bags containing treasures such as mirrors, pink combs, jewelry and each princess could have her own tiara, which could be a reminder for them to take home.

These can be accompanied with cheese wands, pink salmon sandwiches, rolled princess pancakes with savoury fillings or sweet, princess savoury tarts, princess prawns, pink cupcakes, crown cookies dressed in pink icing an jelly beans as jewels and sliced strawberries with sugar.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently working on bringing back our line of kids costumes with some fantastic new additions to the collection. From historical princes and parading pirates to pretty fairies and perfect angels, we will be offering a range of costumes to suit every occasion and party. We will also be testing some ranges from different manufacturers so watch this space!

We still have a lot of work to do but we have lots planned over the next couple of months and are looking forward to bringing some lines to serendipity retail that have never been seen here before, including a beautiful line of childrens swimwear and bedroom furniture.

Our line of serendipity charm bracelets and beads has also been a great success and we are looking to expand our range soon.
