Returns

We will accept returns if products are faulty and reported within 7 days of receipt. In the unlikely event that a return is requested, all returns must include all original items undamaged, in re-saleable condition, all original packaging including manuals, warranty forms, etc. They must be sent including your account name and the address your purchase was originally delivered to. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs incurred for shipping products back. However this will be refunded if the item is found to be defective and the item has been returned following our specific instructions. Please see our refunds policy below for further details. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When you send your item back to us, we will process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return. In the case of damaged, defective or incorrect items you must contact us within 7 days of receipt.

How Refunds Are Calculated

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect

You must notify us if you have received a damaged, defective or incorrect item within 7 days of receipt. If the damage is done by the courier / postal service you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or, in accordance with our returns policy, because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us (by refunding your return postage costs, please email us through this site on the contact us page, before returning your item and we will give you specific instructions on where to return the item, what service to use and if applicable the amount we will pay for the postage.

serendipityretail.co.uk will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. All items must still be sealed and unused in a the condition it was sent to you. In the event that the item is returned in an unsaleable state, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

* where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred (i.e. if charged £6.99 for 6 items we will refund a £1.70 delivery charge per item returned).
* where you are returning an entire order, we will refund the per-delivery charge that you incurred
* we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK

We will not refund the cost of giftwrapping, your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

We will not offer refunds or replacements of any items when contacted after 7 working days after the item was delivered.
